A little girl and her mother are at the laundromat, trying to get through their chores. The little girl keeps trying to help, but she’s just always in her mother’s way and her mother has had enough, you know? She snaps at her daughter one too many times, and the little girl finds solace with the older ginger doing his wash alone. He doesn’t mind if she wants to assist him; he’s not mean like her mother! Why doesn’t she just spend all of her time with him?
I would like to say that, even as a child, this book gave me the No feeling.
