Till Death Do Us Part: Vol. 1 ‘Two Black Cadillacs’

This week, we celebrate the killer ladies of country music. Yes, there is a whole subgenre of country songs about women who kill men for various but valid reasons. Today, we open the celebration with the latest addition to my favorite kind of song: Carrie Underwood’s “Two Black Cadillacs.” As these songs go, this one is pretty oblique, but it’s pretty catchy. “They shared a crimson smile and just walked away and left the secret at the grave.”

UPDATE: Cast the video! Should it be Miranda Lambert and Kelly Clarkson? Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere? Who do you want to see slather on some ravish me red lipstick and smile over an open grave?
