“Be My Juliette Greco, Paris 1949”

Library Voices, the band with the sun-kissed pop boasting a literary edge (the opening track of Summer of Lust is titled “If Raymond Carver Was Born in the ’90s”), is perfect warm, breezy weather listening. Trust me. I’ve had the album since October, and have patiently waited until the weather was appropriate to break it out after a few initial listens. Just try “Reluctant Readers Make Reluctant Lovers” and tell me if I’m wrong.

(Also, the lead singer is a very attractive gen’l’man.)
